Graduate Support Services

Helping the families we serve not only succeed today but remain stable in their housing, financial capability and career paths tomorrow.

The goal of St. Joseph's Family Hope Center is not simply getting families into housing; it is keeping them in housing.

With more than 40% of Americans a $400 expense away from financial distress, the threat of falling back into homelessness looms closely for too many families – especially in our expensive housing market.

Some of the support services Family Hope offers are:   â€‹

  • Financial Literacy

  • Budgeting

  • Furniture and Household Donations

  • Clothing Donations

  • Mentoring

  • Ongoing Case Management

  • "Secret Santa" Donations

Key to this, is identifying needs specific to the local community and tapping into the diverse resources our volunteer pool and partnerships provide. The result is families no longer at risk of homelessness.

Family Hope residential aide, Rebecca Nichols, was 2024 recipient of a 2016 Hyundai Sonata.   Moppert Brothers Auto Collision Specialists, Inc. along with Lechner Stauffer Insurance and other partners listed above  generously  partnered with the National Auto Body Council's "Recycled Rides" program to provide Rebecca with her own car.  Up until now, Rebecca had to rely on public transportation or the help of family and friends to travel to her job at St. Joseph's Family Hope Center as a residential aide.   Many times, her shift finished late at night which made transportation a stressful challenge.  Not only will Rebecca have a stable commute to work but she also looks forward to driving to North Carolina to visit her son and his family.

With the corporate help of Midas and their Project Spark,

2017 graduates, Dorsey and Sharon were gifted  a  "Recycled Ride".
