Who We Are

Providing  shelter.    Guiding  families.    Bringing  hope!

Our mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

St. Joseph's Family Hope Center aims to end family homelessness. We are an interfaith organization that partners with and mobilizes volunteers from our faith-based communities to end homelessness for families and their children.  Together, we have seen success that lasts.  Families in our program receive resources, support and training as they work towards their own stability and self-reliance.

St. Joseph's Family Hope Center started out in 2007 as the Interfaith Hospitality Network  with 12 local religious congregations to tackle family homelessness.   Our mission is to help families who are experiencing homelessness achieve housing stability by first supplying  24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days per year emergency housing.   With individual case management along with our area social service agencies,  we work with families to resolve their homelessness by achieving a stable income and childcare.  Family Hope is a proven path to help families find home.

With the help of our many volunteers,  St. Joseph's Family Hope Center  serves as an alternative to a shelter system that often has families living apart.    We offer a  safe home-like environment which keeps families together providing private bedrooms in a group home living space.  Family Hope services only  families with children without regard to race, religion, or age.  Families may stay in the program up to 90 days providing they are adhering to guest guidelines and making progress in their efforts towards self-sufficiency.
